2. Providing the website

This website consists of static pages. It does not set cookies or use Local Storage or Session Storage. We do not use analytics or marketing services, and we do not embed videos, maps or social media content from external providers. The website uses your device's system fonts. Images, stylesheets and scripts are loaded from this website's server; Google Fonts is not included.

Even without cookies, technical data is transmitted to the web server when you request a page. This includes your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested page or file, and information sent by your browser, such as its type and, where applicable, the previously visited page. The server also processes information about its response, such as the HTTP status code.

This data is needed to deliver the website and operate it securely. The website cannot technically be provided without processing the necessary connection data.

3. Server logs and hosting

Technical access and error data may be processed in server logs as part of server operation. These logs support troubleshooting, protection against attacks and service availability. This website does not analyse data for advertising or create visitor profiles.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to provide our services securely and reliably.

Access is restricted to people authorised to administer the server and, where necessary for its operation, technical hosting and maintenance providers. Disclosure may also be required to fulfil a legal obligation.

Log retention depends on how long the data is needed for technical troubleshooting and server security. In the event of a specific security incident, longer retention may be necessary to investigate it and handle legal claims. The data must be deleted once these purposes no longer apply and there is no statutory retention requirement.

4. Contact by email or phone

When you contact us, we process the data you provide to handle your enquiry. This may include your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message. Contacting us is voluntary; we need a suitable way to contact you if you would like a response.

Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to enquiries relating to a contract. We handle other enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to communicate with you appropriately.

We retain this data to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Statutory retention requirements may apply to correspondence relating to a contract. The data must be deleted once its purpose no longer applies and any such retention requirements have expired.

Email messages and phone calls are handled by the respective communications providers. Clicking an email or phone link opens the relevant application on your device; the website itself does not send us an enquiry when you click the link.

5. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have the right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing.

To exercise your rights, contact info@sym-management.de or write to the postal address above.

6. Right to object

You may object to processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). We will then continue processing the data only if compelling legitimate grounds override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

7. Complaints to a supervisory authority

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR. The authority responsible for our location in Hamburg is:
